Privacy Policy

Wisehood is a daily life-advice app for iOS, and this site is its home. We collect as little as we can get away with. Here is all of it, in plain English.

What we collect, and why

  • Waitlist email (this website). If you join the waitlist we store your email address, which version of our homepage you saw, and the campaign that brought you here. We use it to tell you when the app launches. Nothing else.
  • Account data (the app). If you create an account, we store your email and your preferences (chosen categories, delivery times, saved tips, and which tips you've already seen) with Supabase, our database provider, so your data can follow you across devices.
  • Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
  • Ads (free tier). The free app shows one small banner ad via Google AdMob. iOS will ask your permission before any ad tracking happens (App Tracking Transparency), and saying no changes nothing about how the app works.
  • Analytics (this website). We use PostHog to understand which pages and features are used: page views, button clicks, scroll depth. No session recording, no fingerprinting, no selling.

What we never do

  • We never sell your personal data.
  • We never share your email with third parties for their marketing.
  • We never require an account to use the free app.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from waitlist emails with one click, any time.
  • Delete your account (and all data attached to it) from Settings inside the app.
  • Email us at support@wisehood.app for access or deletion requests. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.

Service providers

Supabase (database and authentication), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google AdMob (advertising in the free app), PostHog (analytics), Cloudflare (website hosting). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
